It’s Your Turn to Chime In On Lead

The Kent County Health Department is holding a forum to hear feedback on the five-year action plan coming from the Michigan Child Lead Exposure Elimination Commission.  The action plan, in part, includes a one-time requirement for point of sale lead inspections for all residential properties and regular lead hazard assessments in rentals of not less than every five (5) years.  A full copy of the action plan can be found here.

When:  Thursday, May 31, 2018  3-5:30 p.m. or 6-8:30 p.m.
Where:  Kent County Health Dept., 700 Fuller Ave., Grand Rapids, MI  49503

All members of the RPOA are welcome to attend.  You must register in advance here.

While pre-registration is not necessary, priority will be given to those with comments that pre-register.  Be prepared to note at the time of registration that you wish to make comments and provide a short version of your comments.  You cannot pre-register unless you do so.
